HISTORY
In 20 years As Is-No Warranty proved it could perform live (and gain increased interest from the public), proved it could create and write songs that are marketable, proved it could produce full-length CDs, proved it could produce artists in the studio, proved it could gain access to radio airtime in heavy rotation, proved it could produce music videos, proved it could market its music, and proved it could distribute both domestically and internationally on a small scale. This is a remarkable amount of experience that has been acquired over the last 20 years and it is all of this valuable knowledge that contributes to the potential of an investment in As Is-No Warranty Music.
The most decisive accomplishment in this 20-year time frame was fulfilling the vision to separate the company into three distinct subsidiaries in the early 1990’s (Performance, Production and Songwriting). What accompanied this separation was the movement of corporate strategy from focusing on a performance area of the business to the intellectual property (IP) area of the entertainment business. As Is-No Warranty Music was always positioned very well for success in the IP area, given the intrinsic creative talents of the principals; however, the decision in 2004 to redirect its primary strategy from product development and sales to IP generation was a critical step and has proved to be a catalyst, catapulting As Is-No Warranty Music to the threshold of a new and very lucrative stage of its history.
