RIC CABOT PODMORE
Mr. Podmore has over twenty-seven years of professional studio recording experience as a producer, engineer, arranger and session musician. His professional career began as a student and assistant to multi-platinum producer Beau Hill. Since that time, his credits include work with multi-Grammy Award winning drummer John ‘JR’ Robinson, multi-Grammy Award winning engineer Jeff Woodruff, Grammy Award winning engineer Kevin Clock, artists Mark Free (King Kobra, Unruly Child), Kimberley Dahme (Boston, Tom Hambrick Band) Cactus Mosher (Highway 101), Nate, Paul, and Kip Winger (Winger), Larry Thompson (Stevie Wonder) and Dennis Holt (Kerry Livgren, Deneice Williams). He has received several awards for his songwriting ability from organizations such as The American Song Festival and The Colorado Composers Classic.
His marketing and sales experience includes five years with Burt Toyota and Toyota Motors U.S.A. where he was regarded as one of the top product specialists in the country. He also spent two years as one of the nations foremost experts of musical instrument sales with Prosound Music. In 1996, Prosound promoted him to management where he played a key role in the company’s overwhelming 52% growth the following year. He has been a member of Broadcast Music, Inc. for eighteen years.
Mr. Podmore coordinates the production, musical arrangement and marketing activities for the company.
